The BITE Sussex Rising Stars lunch is a celebration of talented young chefs working in our county. For this never-to-be-repeated event, five young chefs aged 26 and under will each present a course, showcasing their individual culinary styles with an eye on local and seasonal produce.

•    Welcome drink – Julien Barnett (Gungho!) using Slake Spirits from Worthing

•    Bread/snacks – arranged internally by Etch

•    Starter/soup course – Arion Christophers (Fourth & Church)

•    Fish course – Antonio Pio Iassogna (Hilton Brighton Metropole)

•    Egg course – Elisa Gerard (Julien Plumart)

•    Meat course – Dan O'Malley (Etch by Steven Edwards)

•    Fruit course/dessert – Caspian Armani (Isaac At)


The chefs will be joined by Julien Barnett of Gungho! Cocktail bar in Brighton who will be preparing a welcome drink using locally distilled spirits from Slake.

As this is a one-off event, please note we will not be able to cater for dietary requirements. If you book separately but wish to sit in a group then please notify the restaurant in advance as seating cannot be rearranged on the day.
