Chefs Maria Chilton and Jimmy Gray share their passion for food, drink and entertaining with you. Following a collective 25 years working at the pinnacle of the fine dining scene in Sussex – and 18 months in top kitchens in Asia and Australia exploring fusion dishes and techniques – Maria and Jimmy launched their own business, Angelica Food, in autumn 2021 to provide private dining and events catering to clients in South East England and London.
Provenance, locality and seasonality are at the heart of everything they do. Each week, they work alongside Kent and Sussex farmers and fishers to ensure that the premium produce available on their doorstep is creatively showcased in their visually-enticing and flavour-packed dishes.
As private chefs, the duo offer tasting menus and dinner parties for clients to enjoy in the comfort of their own home. They also offer their professional services for weddings, events and corporate hospitality customers. Depending on requirements, Angelica Food can bring their professional yet friendly front-of-house team, and supply tableware, glassware, linens and specialist kitchen equipment so the client can be assured of not only impeccable and memorable food but also seamless service.
