Celebrating young people & championing careers in food, drink and hospitality across Sussex – nominations extended until 14 September 2022

 

The BITE Sussex Rising Star Awards are a celebration of the contribution that young people make to the amazing food, drink and hospitality sectors of Sussex. 

​

The importance of encouraging new talent to enter our industry – and for young people to see it as an exciting and fulfilling long-term career choice – is essential in ensuring we can all continue to enjoy quality food, drink and service in Sussex and ensuring our region is a great place to live, work and visit.

​

Presented by BITE Sussex and creative marketing agency Sharp Media, the awards are open to anyone aged 26 or younger working in Sussex hospitality or food and drink production and retail.

How to nominate & our judging process

​

• Public nominations run 1 April to 14 September 2022. You may nominate in any or all categories

• Nominees must be working in a Sussex business and aged 26 or under on 30 November 2022

• Please include the name, place of work and briefly why you are nominating the individual

• Colleagues, employers, friends, family and the winers, diners and enjoyers of Sussex food, drink and hospitality can nominate.

• After public nominations close, our judging panel of respected industry professionals will shortlist candidates for face-to-face or telephone interviews 

• Winners will be announced at an award ceremony in Autumn 2022
