Cocktails & Canapés Under The Sea @ SEA LIFE Brighton (06/11/25)
7 Brighton bartenders X 7 Brighton chefs/restaurateurs X 7 local distillers and premium international brands! A night of cocktails and snacks in the world's oldest operating aquarium with all profits – £1,200 – going to the independent SEA LIFE Trust charity to support their work protecting marine ecosystems across the world.
Reach for the Stars @ Brighton i360 (05/11/25)
Remember, remember the fifth of November! We reached for the stars with guest bartenders from Blossoms, Drift, Hotel du Vin and No 124 by Guesthouse for a night of cocktails and fireworks at the i360, sponsored by Pernod-Ricard. £5 from each ticket was donated to a local children's charity.
Cocktails & Wagging Tails @ Brighton Toy & Model Museum (02/11/25)
Our RSPCA charity doggy open day at the Toy Museum with cocktails (for humans!) and tasty W'ZIS snacks for our furry friends!
Brighton Cocktail Week (01/11/25 - 09/11/25)
Mixed up, messed up, mashed up cocktail madness with £9.50 cocktails are 30+ premium bars, restaurants and hotels across the city plus one-off charity events at Brighton attractions.
Dogs Dinner Competition 2025 at Cecconi’s @ Brighton Beach House (09/08/25)
We challenged local chefs to come up with a doggy canapé treat to be judged by our panel of Brighton canine critics! All monies were donated to the RSPCA Brighton & Hove branch.
BITE Sussex X Brighton & Hove Tourism Alliance Summer Showcase (30/06/25)
Our annual 'Meet the Makers' Sussex showcase event was hosted in conjunction with the Brighton & Hove Tourism Alliance on Brighton Palace Pier bringing together over 160 local hospitality, tourism and food/drink producers for an afternoon of tastings and fun networking.
Industry Night at Blossoms (16/06/24)
We love nothing more than getting the local hospitality industry together to sample great food and cocktails. Our Blossoms event at the start of the summer saw delicious Asian themed dishes, cocktails from Horsham-based Aluna Rum and lots of great conversations.
Cocktails & Canapés at Brighton Toy & Model Museum (07/03/24)
Alongside our food and drink friends and partners, we've been supporting the Brighton Toy & Model Museum's 'Trafalger Street Regeneration' fundraiser for a number of years. Our most recent event saw bartenders from Blossoms, Gungho and Twisted Lanes create cocktails themed on toys in the collection with food provided by Moshimo.
BITE Sussex Mondays
We launched our monthly pop-up supper format at My Brighton hotel in April 2023 – creating a platform for chefs and restaurateurs to present a £35 menu that wasn't necessarily in their usual style. Our line-up included Angelica Food, Chef Simon Mckenzie, Pulpo Negro, Boho Gelato, Youjuice, Nanima Asian Kitchen and Momma Cherri.
Regency Banquet at The Royal Pavilion (30/09/23)
Possibly the most logistically complex event we've ever run, we were invited in early 2023 to create and deliver a fine dining event in the majestic banqueting room of this royal palace. Our menu was inspired by the cuisine of the high regency period, featuring dishes by chef Simon Mckenzie, Sabu Joseph (Easy Tiger), master patissier Julien Plumart and gelato maestro Seb Cole (Boho Gelato). Drinks were supplied by Henry Butler (Butlers Wine Cellar), Helen Taggart (MDtea) and Brighton Gin. We raised £2,500 on the night for the Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust.
Dine Under The Sea @ SEALIFE Brighton aquarium (24/08/22)
Never ones to pass up a challenge, we headed under the sea with our friends from Isaac At restaurant and Boho Gelato for a one-off experiential dining experience in the stunning Victorian arcade and exhibition halls of the world's oldest operating aquarium. Drinks were provided by Brighton Gin, Gung-ho!, Stopham Wine Estate, Brighton Bier, Contractors Gin and Arrowtown Drinks. We raised £1,800 for the SEALIFE Trust marine charity.
Sussex Bartender of the Year 2023 finals @ Shelter Hall (05/06/23)
Each year we work with our friends at Mixology Group and local distillers on a cocktail bartender competition that is open to professionals working in the industry across Sussex. We enjoyed a raucous afternoon of making and shaking at Shelter Hall (and a cocktail or two!).
Hospitality Industry Night @ Embers restaurant (03/12/23)
We feel its important to bring together our colleagues from across the wider industry – firstly, it creates new conversations and collaborations, and secondly its a lot of fun! We teamed up with Embers for a Sunday night of cocktails, tastings and tasty food in early December 2023.
BITE Sussex Rising Stars Awards @ Brighton Beach House (28/11/22)
Celebrating the contribution that young people make to the hospitality and wider food and drink industry of Sussex is important. The entry-level workers of today are the business owners and talent of tomorrow. We hosted our third edition of the BITE Sussex Rising Stars Awards at Brighton Beach House on Brighton seafront to a packed audience of industry colleagues and media.
