"BITE Sussex was born out of the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival so we've around 20 years of collective experience delivering exciting and impactful events in the city and surrounding county. Alongside major outdoor events showcasing local producers, chefs, restaurants and bars, we've also shared important messaging around sustainability and healthy eating, and we've also taken our corner the UK to the world with International Chef Exchanges across Europe, Canada and the Caribbean".
"We're abundantly aware that the most support is needed for our region is in the seasonal shoulder periods when both consumer and business tourism spend is difficult to achieve for businesses across the supply chain, so our pivoted model is based on venue-driven event week activations; delivering footfall and spend exactly where its needed by hospitality and local producers: in the tills of their bricks-and-mortar business. As a proud and longstanding stakeholder in the local visitor economy, we also work with attractions to create one-off food and drink led events in their unique spaces to support local charities".

We don't have a subscription fee but rather ask our friends and partners to contribute on an event-by-event basis so everyone knows what they're promised on the tin is exactly what they are getting".
